2020 Brings Some Exciting Changes

We would like to thank all of our customers and followers for helping us grow Clean Lakes MN, but mostly we wanted to thank you for helping protect MN waters!   Two big changes for 2020: We will be increasing our donation amount from 10% to 15% of profits!   We will also continue to donate to Freshwater Society but will also be adding Friends of the BWCA as a donation partner.     Thank you for all of your support and helping with our mission of protecting MN waters for future generations!   Thanks, Hanna & Chris Clean Lakes...

5 Day BWCA Trip – Voyageur Highway

CAMPING · JULY 7, 2019 Back in March, my Uncle Terry who runs our sister camp, Camp Birchwood for Girls, asked me if I had any interest in leading a 5 Day BWCA trip for a group of seven girls and one co-leader. I believe my answer was, “heck yeah!” The plan was to do the Voyageur Highway, which was a common trade route the French-Canadian Voyageurs paddled long ago.
